Firearms stolen during break-in in Dapto

Police are investigating the theft of eight firearms after a break and enter in Dapto, NSW Police say.

Between 10pm on Monday yesterday and 7am yesterday today, unknown person/s broke into the home on Yalunga Street.

During the break and enter, eight firearms were stolen. The firearms stolen include a .222 Remington rifle, .22 Winchester rifle, Stirling .22 rifle, Browning rifle, Winchester 30-30 rifle, Enfield rifle and a Crosman .177 calibre rifle.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
