Firearms stolen during break-in in Grafton

Police are investigating the theft of five firearms after a break and enter in the state’s north coast, NSW Police say.

Sometime between 9pm on Saturday 25 June 2016 and 5.30pm on Sunday 26 June 2016, unknown person/s broke into a house on Turf Street.

During the break and enter, five registered firearms were stolen from a safe.

They include a Winchester .22 calibre rifle, a Weatherby Mk22 Sporter rifle, a Browning 17 bolt action rifle, a Harrington single-barrel shotgun and a Tikka T3 204 rifle.

Officers from Coffs Clarence Local Area Command are continuing their inquiries and are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact Crime Stopers.
