The Strengthening Medicare Taskforce met for the first time on 29 July 2022. The Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon Mark Butler MP, established the taskforce to provide recommendations on the highest priority improvements to primary care.
Strengthening Medicare will make it easier for Australians to see a GP.
