- The teaser for the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me was released Thursday, June 16, which happens to be the legendary rapper's birthday. He would have been 45, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The film has been plagued with production issues, including going through multiple directors. Newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. stars as Pac, who was gunned down on the Las Vegas Strip in 1996.
Commercial director Benny Boom is now behind the camera.
The Walking Dead star Danai Gurira plays Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother. The real Afeni was an executive producer on All Eyez on Me. She died last month at the age of 69.
James G. Robinson and David Robinson are producing for Morgan Creek, along with Program Pictures' LT Hutton.
The film is slated for a Nov. 11 release.
