Five arrested in Cranbourne drug warrant

Dandenong Divisional Response Unit detectives arrested five people early this morning as part of operation Pygmy, Victoria Police say.

Investigators executed a warrant in Cranbourne as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged trafficking of drugs and associated offending.

Numerous items including drugs, ammunition, an allegedly stolen car, a large refrigeration unit, flares and numberplates were seized at the scene.

A 37-year-old Cranbourne woman was arrested and charged with traffick methamphetamine and cannabis, possess methamphetamine, cannabis and cocaine; handle stolen goods, possess ammunition and possess explosives.

She has been bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ court on 19 December

An 18-year-old Cranbourne man, a 36-year-old Cranbourne West man and a 16-year-old Cranbourne West boy were all arrested at the scene and have been released pending further enquiries.

A 15-year-old Cranbourne girl was given a cannabis caution.
