Five men and a woman charged over South Windsor murder

Robbery and Serious Crime Squad detectives investigating the abduction and suspected death of a man from his South Windsor home in March this year have today charged five men and a woman.

Brendan Vollmost, 23, was allegedly chased into his yard at Cox Street, South Windsor, about 10.30pm on Tuesday 31 March 2015.

He was later carried into a white Hyundai i30 and driven from the scene. Mr Vollmost has not been seen since and police believe he has been murdered.

Robbery and Serious Crime Squad detectives have been investigating Mr Vollmost’s disappearance under Strike Force Orander.

About 6am today (Thursday 3 September 2015), strike force detectives – assisted by the Public Order and Riot Squad – executed search warrants on homes at Lalor Park and Quakers Hill, arresting three men, aged 33, 25 and 25. A fourth man, also aged 25, was arrested during a vehicle stop within the Hawkesbury Local Area Command.

The 33-year-old man was charged with murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy to supply large commercial quantity of prohibited drug. He has been refused bail and is due to appear at Blacktown Local Court today.

The 25-year-old man was charged with murder, kidnapping, break and enter, supply large commercial quantity of prohibited drug, and conspiracy to supply large commercial quantity of prohibited drug. He has been refused bail and is due to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court today.

The 25-year-old man was charged with murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company, and conspiracy to supply large commercial quantity of prohibited drug. He has been refused bail and is due to appear at Penrith Local Court today.

Later this morning, a 26-year-old man was arrested at Penrith and taken to Penrith Police Station and charged with accessory after the fact (murder).

He has been refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court today.

Detectives also arrested a 22-year-old woman at Blacktown Police Station.

She was charged with conspiracy to supply large commercial quantity of prohibited drug and has been refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court.
