Five men charged over aggravated break and enters in Moree

Police have charged five men after a string of break and enter offences in the Moree area on Friday night. , NSW Police say

Between 8.40pm yesterday and 4.30am today, a number of break and enter offences were committed on commercial businesses in Moree.

Officers from Barwon Local Area Command were alerted to the incidents and about 5am this morning today, they located five men in Balo Street, Moree, who were allegedly in possession of break and enter tools and proceeds.

The men were arrested and taken to Moree Police Station.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with four counts of aggravated break and enter, two counts of aggravated break and enter, possess housebreaking implement and two arrest warrants.

He was refused bail and will appear at Moree Bail Court tomorrow.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with four counts of aggravated break and enter and was bail refused to appear at Moree Bail Court today.

A 22-year-old man, 34-year-old man and 60-year-old have all been charged with one count each of aggravated break and enter, along with other offences.

They were all given condition bail to appear at Moree Local Court on 28 July 2017.
