A short time later, the station wagon stopped on Davoren Road and all five occupants ran into the Kooranowa Reserve.

Patrols pursued them on foot and apprehended all five suspects.

Three boys, aged 13, 14 and 15, and two girls, aged 12 and 14, were arrested and charged with illegal use.

The 14-year-old boy was charged with driving while unlicensed.

The boys were refused police bail to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court tomorrow, while the girls were bailed to face the Elizabeth Youth Court on 13 February.
