ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

River levels have peaked below the minor flood level at Beswick Bridge in the Waterhouse River and minor flooding is no longer expected.

Further rainfall is forecast over the catchment for the next few days. The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be issued as required. A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Top End, Barkly, Tanami and Sturt Creek Districts.

Waterhouse River:

Flooding is no longer expected along the Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge.

The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is currently at 7.24 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (7.70 m).
