A Flood Watch is current for parts of Top End including Waterhouse and Roper River catchments.
Waterhouse River:
Major flooding may develop along the Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge from late Monday morning.
The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is currently at 7.70 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (8.10 m) early Monday morning. The river may reach around the major flood level (8.70 m) late Monday morning. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
Roper River below Elsey Creek:
River levels are elevated throughout the Roper River catchment.
