Flood watch and Act - Torrens River, SA

The State Emergency Service advises that heavy rain has resulted in an elevated risk of flooding in the Torrens River, which may threaten you and your family’s safety, according to SA Police.

If you live or work in these locations, you should check and action your Emergency Flood Plan now. Prepare your family and home for flooding in your area.

Move items of value to a safe place. If your plan is to leave, if you require time to leave or if you are not prepared, you should consider leaving now.


Only leave if you are certain that the path is clear to a safer place.

Be aware that floodwaters may rise rapidly and are likely to be fast moving. You should never walk, ride or drive through floodwater or allow children to play in or near floodwater.
