A man has died after his vehicle was located in floodwaters at Normanton this afternoon, 30 December.
Police were called to a vehicle submerged in floodwater on Gulf Development Road around 3pm.
A man in his 70s was located deceased in the vehicle.
The death has not been deemed suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
Motorists are urged to never drive through floodwaters.
