Hundreds of people have been arrested protests across parts of Sydney and regional New South Wales today as people continue to protest against what they call fruitless and harsh lockdown.
Across NSW, police arrested more than 150 people and issued almost 600 PINs.
Many of the arrested were released after officers were able to establish their identity to issue a PIN.
Others were charged with a variety of offences including various breaches of the public health order, assault police, resist arrest, refusing to comply with police direction, and failing to move on.
The video circulating on Twitter shows how police are handcuffing and arresting protesters in Lismore.

Anger and frustration are mounting across Australia as people say they are growing tired of never-ending lockdowns that they argue have so far failed to curb surging Covid-19 cases but instead have put people at breaking point.
NSW Police announced earlier forces would be deployed to disrupt people’s travel to potential protest locations and to fine, arrest and charge those who gather.
