Four arrested following Brunswick armed robbery

Police have arrested four teenage boys following an armed robbery in Brunswick West this evening (1 February).

Four males allegedly entered the Albion Street milk bar armed with a knife and baton about 7pm.

Staff were threatened and handed over an amount of cigarettes.

Police responded and, after a search of the surrounding area, four youths were arrested.

A 15-year-old Broadmeadows boy, 17-year-old Craigieburn boy, 17-year-old West Meadows boy and 15-year-old Glenroy boy remain in custody, assisting police with their enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing.
