Four men charged after hydro setup located in Moorebank

Four men have been charged after police uncovered a hydroponic cannabis setup in a warehouse in Liverpool yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 3pm today, police spoke to the occupants of a Mitsubishi Canter light truck in Moorebank.

Following inquiries with the occupants of the vehicle, police conducted a search of a warehouse in Kelso Street, Moorebank.

Inside, police allegedly located cannabis plants, seedlings, and approximately 100kg of cannabis. All items will undergo forensic examination.

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command established a crime scene at the location.

Four men were arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station where they were charged.

Two 54-year-old men and a 53-year-old man have all been charged with cultivate prohibited plant – large commercial quantity and enhanced indoor cultivation plant for commercial purpose.

A 48-year-old man was charged with cultivate prohibited plant – large commercial quantity, enhanced indoor cultivation plant for commercial purpose and supply prohibited drug – large commercial quantity

All four men have been refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today tomorrow.
