Four youths charged for Hawthorn incident

Police have charged two boys and two girls following a series of incidents through the south eastern suburbs yesterday afternoon, Victoria Police say.

The four were arrested following a collision at the intersection of Riversdale and Glenferrie Roads in Hawthorn just after 3.20pm.

Prahran police charged a 15-year-old Pakenham boy with theft of motor vehicle, drive whilst disqualified, speeding, dangerous driving, conduct endangering life, trespass and unlawful assault.

A 16-year-old Doveton boy was charged with theft of motor vehicle and two counts of trespassing.

A 14-year-old Watsonia girl was charged with theft of motor vehicle and committing an indictable offence while on bail.

The trio were remanded in custody and are expected to appear in a Children’s Court at a later date.

A second girl from Carlton was charged and bailed with similar offences.
