Fourth arrest over Andrews Farm kidnapping, SA

Detectives from the Crime Gangs Task Force today arrested a fourth man wanted in relation to a kidnapping incident at Andrews Farm last month, according to SA Police.

Just after 9pm on Tuesday 25 October 2016 four men armed with a baseball bat and a hammer kidnapped a 19-year-old man from an Andrews Farm home.

Police will allege the victim was driven to the Adelaide hills where he was assaulted and that demands for money were made before he was released at about 3am on Wednesday 26 October.

The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of non- life threatening injuries.

On Friday 28 October, Detectives from the Crime Gangs Task Force arrested and charged three men with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated blackmail, assault to cause harm and breach of bail.

A 21 year-old man from Paralowie, a 23 year-old man from Salisbury Heights and a 19 year-old man from Greenwith were refused bail and appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday 31 October.

Today police arrested a 27-year-old Munno Para West man in Wright Street, Adelaide and charged him with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated blackmail, assault to cause harm and aggravated robbery. He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The men are believed to have links to the Rebels OMCG.
