Fourth person charged after man stabbed - Eagle Vale

A 22-year-old man is the fourth person charged following investigations into the stabbing of a man at Eagle Vale earlier this month.

Just before 3.30pm on Sunday (2 May 2021) emergency services were called to a sporting complex on Eagle Vale Drive following reports of a brawl and located a man with multiple stab wounds.

The man, aged 21, was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he underwent surgery and has since been released.

Following inquiries, police today (Thursday 13 May 2021) arrested a 22-year-old man at a home in Mereil Street, Campbelltown.

He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.

He was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow (Friday 14 May 2021).

Investigations are ongoing.
