Fourth person charged after MCG affray

Police have now charged four people following an affray at the Melbourne Cricket Ground last Saturday (11 May).

It is alleged the fight broke out between a number of males inside the stadium just before the final siren of the football match.

A 36-year-old Diggers Rest man was arrested on Tuesday (14 May) and charged with affray.

He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 19 August.

Two other men, a 41-year-old and a 20-year-old from Rosebud were both arrested and charged with affray earlier this morning.

Both males have been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 16 August.

A fourth man, a 27-year-old South Morang man, has been charged with affray and bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 20 August.

Investigators are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
