Fraud charges, North Brisbane

North Brisbane Detectives have charged a woman with fraud offences following a protracted investigation, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged between January 2015 and June 2016 the woman committed a number of fraud offences relating to her role as a former director of a charity.

A 37-year-old Upper Brookfield woman has been charged with six counts of fraud, one count of falsifying a record and one count of attempted fraud.

She has been issued with a notice to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 28.
