Free dementia education programs in Far North Queensland

Areminder for Far North Queensland residents affected by dementia to registerfor Dementia Australia’s programs held throughout March and April.

In Queensland alone, anestimated 80,675 people are living with dementia with an estimated 848 residingin the Cairns region.

The free programs for familyand friends of a person diagnosed with dementia, provide an understanding ofthe impact of dementia and include strategies on how to maintain a healthyrelationship through effective communication.
