Free microchipping day ahead of Liverpool Animal Shelter closure

Liverpool City Council is hosting a free microchipping and vaccination day for cats and dogs at Edwin Wheeler Reserve on Thursday 20 February.

The event is being held in advance of the closure of the Liverpool Animal Shelter on 19 March, providing an opportunity for residents to ensure their pets are microchipped and vaccinated.

"Council's free microchipping and vaccination day is about encouraging responsible pet ownership," Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.
