Tamper‑proof or one‑way screws make number plates harder to remove and can help deter opportunistic theft. The screws are easy to install.
To support community safety, free tamper‑proof number plate screws are available for to collect from the Corporate Centre (76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham). You are encouraged to fit the screws to both the front and rear number plates on their vehicle.
Council has funded the screws and is working with Neighbourhood Watch Bayside to help keep our community safe.
