Not-for-profit organisations can apply for up to $3000 to help deliver community events amid the uncertainty of the global pandemic.
Horsham Rural City Council has received $30,000 from Regional Development Victoria to support existing or new events in the municipality over the next 12 months.
The Regional Community Events Fund aims to strengthen community resilience, reduce the financial risk of running events and support innovation for groups in response to COVID-19.
For successful applicants, Council will pay invoices for event-related costs such as digital and social media marketing, equipment and venue hire and production costs.
Expressions of interests can be lodged here and funding will remain available until it is fully allocated.
