Council will provide four groups with more than $10,000 in funding to support Disability Action Week (15-22 September) activities.
Recipients are:
- ARC Disability Services for Project Ability 2019 to the value of $2,080.
- Spinal Life Australia Ltd for the Take My Seat event to the value of $4,000.
- Cairns Regional Community Development & Employment ATSI Corp for the Disability Action Week Program of activities to the value of $1,616.
- Cairns and District Senior Citizens Association for MOVERE to the value of $2,676.
