Funding for more than 50 regional projects

The funding will support regional and remote artists to develop and display their work to the community and across Australia.

The Fund promotes sustainable economic and cultural development in regional communities and encourages partnerships and collaboration with the private sector.

The projects that have received funding range from film, digital media and music to circus, dance and theatre. These works will increase employment and boost the local economy in regional and remote areas across Australia.

Each year the Government provides around $3.4 million through the Regional Arts Fund, which is delivered by Regional Arts Australia through organisations in each state and territory.

This funding is available through a mix of quick response and community grants for arts projects, professional development for artists and arts workers and community building projects.
