Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an incident at Dandenong earlier this month where police fired a shot at a vehicle, Victoria Police say.
The incident followed a theft at a liquor store in Dandenong North on 6 June involving two men and a woman.
An 18-year old Heatherton man, has been charged with evade police, drive in manner dangerous and other traffic related charges.
He had previously been charged with theft of motor vehicle and theft, has been further charged today in relation to the matter.
He will appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court this afternoon in relation to these charges.
