A Whorouly man has been charged with further charges which relate to the ongoing investigation into the murder of 49-year-old Whorouly woman Karen Chetcuti, Victoria Police say.
The 48-year-old was charged yesterday with pervert the course of justice and incitement to commit murder.
Karen was reported missing on 13 January 2016 after failing to attend work and her body was later located at Lake Buffalo.
Homicide Squad detectives with SES volunteers have today been searching an area near Standish Street in Myrtleford as part of the investigation.
A 79-year-old woman has been arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
