Further investigation in North Haven case, South Australia

On 5 August 2021, a driver allegedly drove a vehicle into three separate cyclists at North Haven.

On 26 August 2021, the accused, a 25-year-old Hilton man, was arrested and charged with three counts of endangering life and failing to stop after an accident.

Police withdrew those charges after determining further investigation was necessary. Once that investigation is concluded, an adjudication will be made to determine if fresh charges can be laid.

The additional charges of make a false report to police and failing to truly answer questions are proceeding and will be heard on 31 January at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court.
