Further two charged over stabbing murder, NSW

A man and teenager have been charged over a stabbing murder at a Bossley Park hair salon last week.

About 12.40pm on Friday 11 January 2019, emergency services were called to a hair salon on Mimosa Road, where they found a 20-year-old man with a stab wound to his upper body.

The man was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

Following inquiries, an 18-year-old man was arrested shortly after and charged with murder. He remains before the courts.

Strike Force Etival was established by officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command – with assistance from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad – to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following further inquiries, detectives arrested a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth at a Bossley Park home yesterday (Wednesday 16 January 2019).

They were taken to Fairfield Police Station and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The man was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today (Thursday 17 January 2019).

The teen was refused bail to appear at a children's court today (Thursday 17 January 2019).
