East Gippsland Crime Investigations Unit officers are investigating the theft of a generator at Bonang.
The generator, valued at $20,000, was stolen from a site on Dellicknora Road and had been used to assist power requirements for telecommunications towers and exchange in the area.
Investigators believe the generator was stolen sometime on 27 May.
