Georges River Council Revamps Hurstville Dog Park

Georges River Council

Georges River Council is pleased to announce the completion of improvements to the off-leash dog park at Hurstville Park, located next to Hurstville Oval on the corner of Patrick Street and Gordon Street.

Guided by the valued input of local residents, these enhancements aim to provide a safer and more accessible environment for both families and their pets to enjoy.

The upgrades include a 1.5-metre-high perimeter fence to enhance safety, a secure airlock gate system, a new drinking foundation, and dog agility equipment to help your four-legged friends stay active.

Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, "These improvements reflect the needs and voices of our community.

"We're proud to offer a safe, welcoming environment where families and their pets can connect, play, and enjoy nature together.

"I encourage all local residents and their furry friends to enjoy this convenient off leash area."
