Get ready for an explosive weekend with the annual SeaFire international fireworks competition set to return to the Gold Coast.
For the first time the fireworks will be launched from four different locations at the same time, meaning the display can be viewed from four vantage points.
While the event has been modified, the same show will be launched at each site.
"SeaFire always brings some spectacular shows, and this year will be no different with an amazing demonstration planned," Mayor Tom Tate.
"We welcome the teams from Belgium and the USA who will compete for the coveted title and the show will conclude with an Australian fireworks finale.
"Spectators do not need to worry about missing out with the same 18-minute show launched at the four locations at 7pm.
"Grab your family and get ready for some really explosive action."
Locations:
- Broadbeach – Kurrawa beach / park
- Broadwater Parklands – Great Lawn
- HOTA Parklands – Lake area
- Surfers Paradise foreshore – no beach access
Time: 7pm, Saturday 31 May 2025
The decision to expand locations was made to help protect Surfers Paradise beach and disperse crowds for community safety following the effects of Tropical Cyclone Alfred and subsequent high tides.
SeaFire is a free family friendly event presented by City of Gold Coast.
