Getting started on Council Plan

Warrnambool City Council has begun development of its Council Plan.

The Council Plan sets the strategic direction of the Council over the next four years. It's an important document that helps guide the allocation of resources and the selection of priority projects.

The Council Plan is guided by the objectives established in the long-term community plan, Warrnambool 2040 (www.w2040.com.au).

Council is asking the community to help shape the Council Plan.

We are seeking to recruit 70 Warrnambool residents to participate in one of two deliberative engagement workshops designed to help inform a new Council Plan.

Each three-hour workshop will have 35 participants and both will be held on Wednesday, March 17, one in the morning, the other in the afternoon/evening.

Participants will be selected to ensure there is a representation of geography of residence and population density, genders, age, socio-economic status, ability, cultural diversity and sexual orientation.
