Girl critical after falling from moving vehicle in Berowra

A girl has been flown to hospital in a critical condition after falling from a moving vehicle in Berowra today, NSW Police say.

About 10am (Saturday 8 December 2018), emergency services were called to Boundary Street, after reports an 11-year-old girl fell from the back of a vehicle.

The child suffered serious injuries and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being flown to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

The female driver will also attend hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Kuring-Gai Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Crash Investigation Unit officers are en route to the scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries are continuing, anyone with information that may assist is urged to come forward.
