Glenroy woman robbed of sporting medals

Moreland Police are investigating after a woman had her Pan Pac and World games medals stolen, Victoria Police say.

It’s understood the victims home on Morell Street was burgled on 30 November 2017 about 3.10pm.

The 60-year-old victim won the six medals in Pan Pac and World Games in netball.

She also had two medals stolen from competing in breast cancer triathlons which she took part in following her recovery from the disease.

A number of other items were stolen during the burglary.

Investigators have released an image of the medals that were stolen with the hope someone might be able assist with their enquiries.

Whilst the medals don’t have a high monetary value they are of significant sentimental value to the owner.

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
