Goods stolen from Batemans Bay business recovered at Batemans Bay

A man will face court today charged with drug supply and property offences following a search warrant on the state's South Coast.

About 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 February 2020), officers from South Coast Police District executed a crime scene warrant at a hotel room in Batemans Bay following an investigation into drug supply in the area.

Officers located and seized cash, mobile phones, 'ice' and drug paraphernalia.

Police also seized a mobile phone believed to be stolen from a Batemans Bay business that had been affected by bushfires earlier this year.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station, where he was charged with:

- supply prohibited drug,

- receive property - theft serious indictable offence,

- two counts of goods suspected stolen in/on premises,

- two counts of drive motor vehicle during disqualification period,

- armed with intent, and

- possess equipment for administering prohibited drug.

He was refused bail and is due to face Batemans Bay Local Court today (Wednesday 5 February 2020).
