Goulburn Mulwaree Council has launched a new heritage resource brochure, Our Heritage – Our Shared Responsibility, to support the community in understanding how heritage properties are cared for and managed across the local area.
The brochure has been developed as a practical and easy-to-use guide for property owners and industry professionals, including real estate agents, conveyancers, buyers, sellers and tenants. It provides clear information on heritage management responsibilities, development and maintenance requirements, and outlines the support available through Council, including its free Heritage Advisory Service.
By bringing key heritage information together in one place, the brochure aims to build confidence, reduce confusion and encourage informed decision-making when dealing with heritage-listed properties.
Hard-copy brochures were circulated throughout the Goulburn City Conservation Area last week to ensure key heritage information is readily available to local commercial and residential property owners.
Digital copies of the brochure, along with supporting fact sheets for both residential and commercial properties, are also available on Council's website: https://www.goulburn.nsw.gov.au/Development/Environment-Heritage/Heritage#section-14
