Grant Access Boost for Snowy Monaro Council

Council has launched a free local grant funding search platform for the Snowy Monaro this week that makes finding, applying for, and tracking grant funding opportunities easy for local organisations and community groups.

Whether it's a sporting club in need of funding for better changerooms, a local promoter looking for support to stage a new major event-or any and everything in between-the new service connects our community with all the right funding opportunities.

GrantGuru and Council worked together previously on a federally funded project for the wider region.

'Having easy and centralised access to grants is a huge benefit to our community,' said Mayor Chris Hanna.

'It's obviously great for the groups and individuals that secure funding, but in regional areas like the Snowy Monaro, grant-funded community projects and organisations are a really significant part of our social, cultural and even day-to-day life.'

'I'm excited that Council is stepping up to provide this important service to our region.'

Council's new grant search platform makes it as simple and straight-forward as possible to find grant support. Backed by GrantGuru and adapted for the Snowy Monaro, the fully featured platform is live online now.
