Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged two people after firearms, $250,000 worth of drugs and cash were seized following a raid in Sydney's west.
In June 2025, detectives attached to State Crime Command's Taskforce Falcon commenced an investigation under Strike Force Duncan into the alleged organised supply of prohibited drugs and firearms for Organised Crime Networks (OCN's).
Following inquiries, about 6am yesterday (Wednesday 19 August 2026), strike force detectives – with assistance from Raptor Squad – executed a search warrant in Granville and arrested a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
During a search of the property, detectives allegedly seized a MAC-11 machine pistol, a shortened rifle, a firearm silencer, a firearm magazine, ammunition, six Dedicated Encrypted Criminal Communication Devices (DECCDs), a large amount of cash, 445g of cocaine, 200g of gamma butyrolactone, 24g of methylamphetamine, 17g of MDMA, and three restricted prescribed substances.
The total drugs seized has an estimated potential street value of more than $250,000.
The 38-year-old man was taken to Granville Police Station where he was charged with 15 offences;
- Possess unregistered firearm-prohibited firearm
- Possess shortened firearm (not pistol) without authority
- Two counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit
- Possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority
- Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and greater than $5,000
- Organises/conducts/assists drug premises
- Supply prohibited drug greater than or equal to commercial quantity
- Three counts of supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity
- Three counts of possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance, and
- Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Thursday 20 August 2026).
The 37-year-old woman was taken to Parramatta Police Station where she was charged with three counts of possess prohibited drug, possess shortened firearm (not pistol) without authority, and owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises.
She was refused bail and appeared at Parramatta Local Court yesterday (Wednesday 19 August 2026).
Investigations under Strike Force Duncan are ongoing.
