NT Fire and Rescue Service members responded to a large grass fire near Greatorex Road in Ilparpa, Alice Springs, at approximately 12am on Sunday.
Twenty-two firefighters from NT Fire and Rescue and Bushfires NT attended the incident, the combined teams worked to contain the large grass fire.
There have been no reported injuries and no homes or structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Territory Duty Officer Anthony Blakeley said the quick response of firefighters helped prevent the fire from spreading further and affecting nearby properties.
"Firefighters acted quickly to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading and helping to protect nearby residents and properties," he said.
Residents are reminded to remain vigilant and report any signs of fire immediately by calling Triple Zero (000).
