Griffith City Council is inviting local community groups and not-for-profit organisations to apply for funding through the Community Grants Program.
This year, Council is introducing a new approach, grants will now be offered on an all-year-round basis, available until the allocated funds for the financial year are fully expended.
Griffith Mayor, Councillor Doug Curran said the idea was to make it easier for community groups to bring their ideas to life.
"Our all-year-round grants mean you can apply when it suits your project," he said.
"Make your community project a reality and apply today."
Grants of up to $2,500 per application, to support small-scale activities, projects, or events that enhance the community, are being offered.
To maximise your chance of success, we encourage applicants to discuss proposed projects with Council staff before submitting.
Each submission will form part of a Council report, with Councillors determining the outcome.
Applications for the remaining funds in the 2025/26 Community Grants Program close at 4pm Friday 15 May 2026.
