Griffith City Council is proud to partner with the Griffith Ex-Servicemen's Club for this year's NSW Motorcycling Junior and Senior Dirt Track Championships, presented by Davies Motorcycles. The event will be held on 4 and 5 July at the renowned Pines Speedway facility.
Council's Tourism Manager, Mirella Guidolin said the championships would provide a valuable opportunity to showcase the region to visitors from across NSW and interstate.
"The MNSW Dirt Track State Championships are a fantastic addition to Griffith's event calendar and a great opportunity to showcase our region to visitors. We're excited to welcome competitors, officials and supporters to Griffith and encourage them to explore everything our region has to offer during their stay," Ms Guidolin said.
The highly anticipated championship weekend is expected to attract many of the state's top Dirt Track riders as competitors chase championship honours, state titles and valuable momentum midway through the 2026 season.
The Griffith Motorcycle Sports Club has built a strong reputation within Australian Dirt Track racing, producing generations of elite riders and hosting high-quality events for decades. Pines Speedway is widely regarded as one of the country's premier Dirt Track venues, known for its fast and technical track conditions.
Griffith Mayor, Councillor Doug Curran, said Council was pleased to support an event that delivers both sporting and economic benefits to the region.
"Griffith City Council is proud to partner with Motorcycling NSW and the Griffith Motorcycle Sports Club to bring the 2026 Junior and Senior Dirt Track State Championships to Griffith," Councillor Curran said.
"Events like this not only showcase elite sporting talent, they also deliver significant economic benefits to our region. Welcoming more than 240 riders, along with their teams, families and supporters, highlights Griffith's reputation as a leading destination for major regional events.
"We look forward to seeing the community come together to support what promises to be an exciting weekend at Pines Speedway."
