Group effort for West Kempsey Cleanup

Kempsey Shire Council

Many hands make light work as Council workers and other members of the Local Emergency Management Committee combine resources to clean up a part of town that was in sore need of some TLC!

This clean up occurred after discussions at the recent Local Emergency Management Committee meeting discussed the need for some tidying up around Gordon Nixon Ave and into the Greenhill area.

Council brought along a backhoe, truck and staff who were ready and willing to pick up rubbish and wield mowers and brush-cutters.

The day was very productive, with Dylan Reeves, Group Manager Infrastructure Delivery, thanking everyone involved in the cleanup effort, and acknowledging how appreciative the community was.
