Hainan Airlines launched Haikou-Osaka non-stop service on February 28

Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. ("Hainan Airlines") launched the non-stop service between Haikou and Osaka on February 28. The route is expected to promote the development of the tourism sector in the two cities, and further deepen Sino-Japanese international trade exchanges and cultural exchanges.

Responding positively to China's national instruction of "increasing the international routes directly from Hainan to the world's major tourist sources," and Hainan provincial government's request of speeding up the construction of the Hainan regional hub, Hainan Airlines has vigorously invested in the expansion of international routes and increased intercontinental non-stop service. Hainan Airlines has currently opened many international and regional routes originating from Haikou, with service to and from Rome, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne and Taipei, among several other destinations.
