Police are investigating the theft of a handbag and use of credit card in Fitzroy this month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a handbag was stolen from a licensed premises on Brunswick Street about 12.30am on 3 June.
Shortly after, about 12.47am, a credit card from the handbag was used at a service station on Victoria Parade in Fitzroy.
Police have released an image of a woman they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.
She is described as aged in her 40s, auburn coloured hair, black glasses and was wearing a black jacket with a hood and carrying a blue and brown shoulder bag.
