Just before 9.30pm on Tuesday 13 September, a man entered an apartment on the Esplanade at Semaphore, threatened the two female occupants with a screwdriver and stole a handbag.

Then about 10pm, a woman was walking along Walkerville Terrace, near the intersection of Stephen Terrace, when a white four wheel drive, possibly a Jeep, pulled up alongside her. A rear passenger got out of the car, threatened her with a knife and stole her handbag. The victim was able to retain her mobile phone and called police immediately.

The man is described as having a dark complexion, aged in his late 20s, about 170 cm tall, with a slim build, clean shaven and wearing a baseball cap. There were two other men in the vehicle.
