Hanging Gardens Bring Colour To Lithgow CBD

Lithgow Council

The Lithgow Hanging Gardens Project is a community led initiative to beautify the Lithgow CBD.

The volunteer program aims to provide hanging baskets for installation on Main Street buildings within the CBD to create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

Mayor Cassandra Coleman joined the gardeners yesterday to inspect the current hanging pots on Main Street and to discuss the benefits of the project, she even assisted the gardeners installing a fresh basket.

Lithgow City Council is proud to partner with the Main Street Gardening Group – Lithgow on this community led initiative and are calling upon Main Street businesses to register to be a part of this project.
