Harvey Norman Super Rugby AU Final on Channel Nine in QLD, NSW and ACT

Saturday night’s Harvey Norman Super Rugby AU Final will be live on Channel Nine in Queensland, New South Wales and ACT.

The Queensland Reds and Brumbies blockbuster will also be ad-free, live and on demand, with extended coverage on Stan Sport.

The Final will be live on 9Gem in other States and Territories.

The shift from Channel Nine follows a sharp upswing in television ratings in 2021, in a season which has delighted fans across the country.

More than 40,000 are expected to fill Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night with tickets moving fast ahead of the season decider.

Rugby Australia Chief Executive Officer Andy Marinos said: “We’re delighted to see the switch in Queensland, New South Wales and ACT, this further re-enforces that Rugby is on the rise and we are excited that an even wider audience will get to enjoy one of the most anticipated games in recent memory, after two thrilling encounters between the Reds and Brumbies earlier this season.

“To our partners Mike (Sneesby), Brent (Williams) and the entire team at Nine and Stan, the profile and support we have enjoyed this year has been fantastic as we continue to build success around our great game. We can’t wait for Saturday night, and then the Harvey Norman Super Rugby Trans-Tasman season before the Wallabies Tests in July!” Marinos said.
