Hawkesbury Fest cancelled due to park flood damage

Council has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Hawkesbury Fest.

Inspections of Governor Phillip Park, Windsor following last week's floods have determined the ground is too saturated to safely hold the event, with the conditions unlikely to improve sufficiently before 7 August.

Council is continuing to adopt a safety-first approach to reopening affected parks and other infrastructure across the City.
